Chinese bloggers and internet users have called for revenge on Iranian hackers who attacked China’s leading search engine, the Financial Times reported. The "Iranian Cyber Army" hacked into search engine Baidu yesterday, replacing its usual search page with an Iranian flag. Soon after the attack, Chinese flags and nationalist slogans began appearing on Iranian websites. AFP reported that the Iranian Cyber Army is the same pro-government group that attcked and briefly shut down Twitter in the wake of the Iranian presidential election. Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu condemned any attempt to attack on Chinese websites. "If that was the case, we resolutely oppose hacking and other Internet crimes," Jiang said.
