China agreed to discuss a complaint made by the US at the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding Chinese tax rebates for China-based chip manufacturers. The US complaint said China's tax policy unfairly favors China-based semiconductor manufacturers. China and the US have 60 days to discuss the complaint, after which further dispute-settlement procedures will begin according to WTO rules. A time and place for discussions have not yet been set.
