China wins ball-bearing case in US

China has won a victory against a dumping case against exports of ball-bearings to the US, China Daily said. The case started last year at the instigation of the American Bearings Manufacturers Association, which asked for anti-dumping duties to be imposed on imports of Chinese ball-bearings. However, the US International Trade Commission ruled that the imports did not harm or threaten domestic producers.

In a separate development, China has imposed anti-dumping duties of between 2 and 49 per cent on imports of acrylates from South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, China Daily said.
