China's commercial air fleet to triple: Airbus

China's airlines will triple their fleets by 2023, owing to anticipated 8% annual growth in passenger traffic over 20 years, according to Airbus. China, the world's second largest market for passenger planes, will need about 1,800 new aircraft, worth an estimated US$230bn, by then, Airbus said.
