Cui Dalin, China’s deputy sports minister, on popularizing golf for the 2016 Olympics:
"The state-supported system has proved a huge success over the past 60 years. Golf is an Olympic sport now and we will make full use of the system to develop the game…. We will set up more golf tournaments for young people and also send some of the youngsters abroad."
