Senior China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) officials said the commission is prepared to open up the country's futures market, and is considering introducing derivatives trading including share index and treasury bond features products, state media reported. Yang Maijun, CSRC's futures chief, said CSRC would make agricultural and strategic resource commodities a priority for developing new future productss. CSRC Chairman Shang Fulin said China's futures markets are in their infancy and can learn much from their international counterparts.
