China’s Internet users totaled 649 million at the end of last year, 557 million of whom were using a mobile device, Tech In Asia reported, citing data released by the government-affiliated China Internet Network Information Center. That total went up by 31 million compared to the end of 2013, as social media and ecommerce saw increased usage. However the use of microblogs such as Sina Weibo by mainland Chinese fell by more than 11% to include only 38.4% of total Internet users
