China's merger and acquisition activity will continue to grow this year, fueled largely by the recent trend of domestic manufacturing brands acquiring international brands, state media reported, citing PricewaterhouseCoopers. Last year, China's 693 M&A deals totaled US$52bn, with the number of deals up 50% from 2003.
