The Shanghai Stock Exchange published two separate lists with names of 48 candidates for the “listing and consultative committees” for the new tech board, said the South China Morning Post.
Neil Shen Nanpeng, the founder and managing partner of Sequoia Capital China, Zhang Lei, CEO of Hillhouse Capital and Bao Fan, CEO of China Renaissance, are among the candidates for the consultative committee.
Other candidates for the committee include executives from biotech companies and state-owned enterprises such as Wuxi AppTec, Hengrui Medicine, SAIC Motor, China Electronics Corporation and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
The consultative committee will mainly act as the key advisory body for the tech board and the listing committee will act as the administrative decision maker on the IPO applications.
