[photopress:China_software_rising.jpg,full,alignright]The Ministry of Information Industry reports China’s software industry continued to expand during the first four months of this year, with business income up 28% on the previous year.
Revenue between January and April was RMB143.5 billion ($18.6 billion). Of that total, software products accounted for RMB51.2 billion ($6.6 billion), up 27.9% and system integration — which includes IC and solution design — RMB34.9 billion ($4.5 billion), up 27.7%.
Industry sources said the first four months witnessed a continued imbalance between software products, system integration and software services.
