China’s steady high growth rate in economy formed a solid foundation for the storage industry: the growth rate of China’s GDP was 10% continuously or above within 5 years from 2003 to 2007.
In 2007, the nationwide storage cost was RMB1.4943 trillion (about $205 billion) accounting for 32.9% of overall logistics costs.
The domestic total cost of logistics in 2007 reached RMB7,522.83 billion (about $103 billion), a 26.2% increment over the same period of 2006.
Now more attention should be focused on the more fierce competition in the storage industry.
