[photopress:China_India_CEOs.gif,full,alignright]On June 4 and 5 over 20 Chinese and Indian CEOs gathered in Beijing as part of the China-India CEO Program run by Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB), INSEAD and the Confederation of Indian Industry.

The group included Indian CEOs from Tata International, TCE Consulting Engineers and Reliance Industries China and Chinese leaders from Midea, Focus Media, Mengniu Dairy and China International Energy Group.

‘The world economy is in a new stage of development driven by India and China, ‘ commented CKGSB Strategy Professor Zeng Ming. ‘The two countries are adding one billion people to the global labor force and one billion new consumers, resulting in both the creation of wealth and the re-distribution of wealth.’

Cheung Kong’s Dean, Xiang Bing, spoke on the future of corporations in emerging markets and said Chinese and Indian CEOs need to integrate resources worldwide through ‘bold and daring’ innovation.
