Mo Hailong, a Chinese citizen and permanent citizen of the United States, has entered a plea agreement with prosecutors and admitted to conspiracy to steal seed corn from American seed firms DuPont Pioneer and Monsanto on behalf of Kings Nower Seed, a subsidiary of the Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group, The Associated Press reported. The plea agreement states that Mo -whose wife and children are American citizens – will provide the government farms in Illinois and Iowa involved in the conspiracy, and stated that he had acknowledged that he could be immediately deported from the US after serving his prison sentence.
