Impressed by the cultural and high-tech presentations in the Expo Garden’s national pavilions, 60% of people surveyed in Shanghai hope that the Expo will be held again in China. This was fairly easy to forecast as it has been the case in almost every Expo ever held.
According to a survey conducted by Shanghai-based Touchmedia, about 60% of the 130,000 surveyed want the event to be held again in other Chinese cities, English News.cn reported.
Note, however, that this survey was carried out through screens installed on the backs of taxicab headrests, which is not a widely known way of carrying out surveys.
Wang Xiaohui, a visitor from Hebei province, was quoted by China Daily as saying, "The presentations by states around the world have stretched my horizons and I can look at what other countries are doing with their technological innovations and economic development."
