Noetix Robotics, one of four robot manufacturers recently featured on China’s widely-watched Spring Festival Gala, announced on Monday that it has completed a Series B funding round, bringing the total raised in this tranche to nearly RMB 1 billion ($145.9 million), reports Caixin.
The latest round was led by Chendao Capital, an industrial investment platform affiliated with battery giant Contemporary Amperex. Other investors included CAS Investment Management and Unity Ventures. This marks the ninth financing round for Noetix Robotics, which previously completed a RMB 300 million pre-Series B round in October 2025.
The funding announcement follows the company’s role in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala on February 16, the eve of the Lunar New Year. During a skit, five Noetix robots performed magic tricks, ran and executed backflips. The segment concluded with a bionic humanoid engaging in dialogue with actress Cai Ming, whom the machine was designed to resemble. The latest round was led by Chendao Capital, an industrial investment platform affiliated with battery giant Contemporary Amperex.
