The former CIA analyst who had leaked information on a broad US surveillance program said Wednesday that the program included targets in the mainland and Hong Kong, South China Morning Post reported. The US National Security Agency has been hacking computers in the mainland and Hong Kong since 2009, according to unverified documents Edward Snowden showed to the Post. Among those targeted in Hong Kong were officials at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, public officials, businesses and students. Snowden said that, of thousands of hackings conducted by the NSA, hundreds of targets have been in the mainland or Hong Kong.
