Cisco Systems, the world's biggest maker of computer networking equipment, will increase its production in the Mainland to 40% of its total output by 2006, The Standard of Hong Kong reported Friday, quoting its China president, Duh Jaibin. The move will increase profit margins worldwide and cut costs. Manufacturing in China accounts for 22% to 23% of the firm's total production in the fiscal year ending in July.
