Former US president Bill Clinton's private foundation announced that it was hired to provide treatment and care for Chinese HIV and AIDS patients. The William J Clinton Presidential Foundation said its HIV-AIDS initiative will also assist China to develop more effective systems for containing the disease. Clinton's foundation procures equipment, trains medical staff and directs medicinal supplies to 18 countries in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.
