China signed a draft agreement with the World Health Organization (WHO) on Tuesday to share bird-flu virus samples, state media reported. The agreement will help experts track the virus and analyze genetic changes. China has had more than 30 outbreaks of the deadly H5N1 strain of bird flu this year, and two people have died. Meanwhile, a senior US health official has lauded China's transparency and said the two countries were co-operating well in combating bird-flu.
