Mohammad Taher Baqerizadeh, MD of Chabahar free trade industrial zone, said that an engineering delegation from China’s COMCO Machinery & Equipment made a visit to the region and reviewed the possible investment opportunities in the zone.
The delegation studied the various industries such as fishery, packaging, warehouse and cold storage buildings and some construction projects.
He added that the Chabahar Port is the region’s main port for investment due to its appropriate geographical situation.

It gained importance mainly from its geographical location as the shortest and the most secure route connecting central Asian independent states and Afghanistan and its proximity to one of the largest oil, gas and mineral resources of the world and as the only ocean port of Iran.
