Compensation for scrapped radar sale

Israel has agreed to pay China US$350m to compensate for the cancelled sale of a Phalcon airborne radar system to China, said Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper. The deal was scrapped in July 200 under pressure from the US because of its concern that the sale could give the mainland an edge in any military conflict with Taiwan.
