Oil tanker nearly ready for delivery

The first 300,000-tonne oil tanker built in China is nearing completion and will be delivered to Iran this April, Xinhua reported. Construction of the huge ship, 330 metres long and 58 metres wide, began in August 2000. The ship was built by China’s largest shipbuilder Dalian New Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co in Liaoning province. It is the first of five ordered from the company by the National Iranian Tanker Co
