Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian ordered an investigation into unauthorized contacts with the Mainland entities along with a review of trade policy, a move that appeared to be partly in response to the opposition KMT, which just concluded a fence-mending visit to the Mainland. Chen also warned against companies developing further economic ties with the Mainland, whipping up what he called "Mainland fever".
