CPI has two-year listing plan

China Pacific Insurance is aiming for an initial public offering sometime in the next two years, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing comments made by CPI Chairman Wang Guoliang. Wang didn't specify the exchange on which the Shanghai-based insurer would list. China Pacific Life Insurance, which is a unit of China Pacific Insurance and the country's third-largest life insurer by revenue, would also likely go public at some stage, he said.
