Ctrip reports 39% rise in Q4 revenue

Chinese online travel website Ctrip.com International said revenue for the fourth quarter of 2010 reached RMB835 million (US$127 million), up 39% from the same period in 2009.

For the full year ended December 31, total revenues were RMB3.1 billion (US$472 million), representing a 44% increase from 2009.

Hotel reservation revenues amounted to RMB1.3 billion (US$197.9 million) for the full year, up 36% from 2009. The hotel reservation revenues accounted for 42% of the total revenues in 2010.

Air ticket booking revenues for the full year was RMB1.2 billion (US$182.7 million), an increase of 39% from the previous year.

China Tech News reported that corporate travel revenue for the full year reached RMB130 million (US$19.8 million), representing a 56% increase from 2009, accounting for 4% of the total revenues in 2010, remaining consistent with that in 2009.
