Danny Quah, British economist, on the impacts of a potential RMB revaluation:
"Revaluation proponents should keep in mind that American manufacturers rely on the inputs from China. If those Chinese goods become more expensive, it would hurt the US industry, and hundreds of thousands of jobs and opportunities will be destroyed."
