Direct Amsterdam-Hangzhou

There is now a new direct airline route between east China’s Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and Amsterdam.

Operated by Air France-KLM Group the first flight from Hangzhou to Amsterdam left Xiaoshan airport Sunday and arrived as scheduled in Amsterdam 11 hours and 35 minutes later.

This will, initially, be three flights a week scheduled. Flights from Hangzhou to Amsterdam will be flown on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Flights from Amsterdam to Hangzhou will be flown on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

English.news.cn reports each flight can carry 318 passengers. This is an important route because Hangzhou is isolated from Shanghai and Beijing by distance. This new flight steps up its importance in international trade.
