Bombardier Aerospace has confirmed a firm order for five super midsize Challenger 300 jets from Donghai Jet which is based in Shenzhen. The total value of the order is approximately US$121 million.
Bombardier said the Challenger 300s will join a larger Challenger 605 that was formally delivered to Donghai on Saturday. Thus Donghai Jet will soon operate the first Challenger 300 and Challenger 605 jets to be based in China.
Donghai Jet is headquartered at Shenzhen airport and was jointly established by Shenzhen Donggang Investment Development, East Pacific Holdings and Win Glory Enterprises, a Sino-foreign joint venture. In addition to charter services, MarketWatch reports Donghai Jet also provides trading consultation, management and maintenance services for business jets.
