Drop in electronics, IT exports

China’s exports of electronics and information technology products fell 18.35% in the first ten months of this year, but the decline was percentage points less than that in the first nine months, according to the latest statistics released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

China electronics workerIT and electronics have slowed down – 18.25% –  but that is at a slower rate then formerly. However, the state of exports in this area are very important.

The export value of Chinese electronics and IT products, which account for 37.5% of the country’s total exports, in the first nine months was $359.38 billion.

 
Computers, cell phones, LCD panels, color TVs, processors and controllers are among the top export products. 
 
Alibaba reports that exports to China’s three primary export destinations, Hong Kong SAR, the US and Japan were down 21.67%, 14.50% and 15.34% year on year, respectively.
