Dunkin' Donuts unveils Shanghai outlet, China plans

US coffee and baked goods chain Dunkin’ Donuts will open its first shop in Shanghai this spring, with plans for 100 more locations across China in the next 10 years, AP reported. Dunkin’ Donuts currently has 10 shops in Taipei, Taiwan, and they operated by Taiwan-based franchise partner Mercuries & Associates, which also has the rights for Shanghai and Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces on the mainland. To date, Dunkin’ Donuts has nearly 7,900 restaurants in 31 countries.
