Dusit International is to open at Sanya, Hainan in 2010. Dusit International already operates 18 properties in Thailand and has now moved into an expanision mode throughout Asia.
Its first hotel in China will be the Dusit Thani Sanya, which will open in December 2010 on the east coast of Hainan Island. This is very much a resort destination. The 160-room property will incorporate 22 separate villas, a spa and meeting facilities. It will be set up as both a recreational and a MICE hotel with all facilities for meetings.
Conference and Incentive Travel lists the expansion plans of the group with the Dusit Princess City Centre opening in Dubai next month, the Dusit Thani Lakeview Cairo in January and the Dusit Devarana New Delhi in May. Then, in 2011, the group plans to open the Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, Dusit Devarana Jaipur and Dusit Devarana Rishikesh.
