China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd (CEA) has agreed to buy from its parent, China Eastern Airlines Group, the core assets of China Northwest Airlines and Yunnan Airlines which include flight routes, staff and key contracts for US$119m, state media reported. CEA, which has said would fund the deal with its own capital and loans, expects the purchase to boost its domestic market share.
