The EU and China will face further trade tensions unless European businesses respond swiftly to China's increasing manufacturing might, EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson warned just days after ending a textile dispute with China, the Financial Times reported on Thursday. He announced a probe into the alleged dumping of Chinese shoes and said that trade tensions would extend to other sectors as China's economy forged ahead.
