With the Shanghai Expo comes discounts to attractions in neighboring provinces.
The Confucius Temple and the Qinhuaihe River, the two most popular tourist spots in Nanjing, will halve the price of the $7.33 ticket which covers both attractions.
Other cities, including Xuzhou, Zhenjiang, Nantong and Suqian, will offer 20% discounts at their tourist spots. More than 30% of Expo visitors are expected to visit the province, said Zhang Weiguo, Jiangsu’s deputy governor.
Shanghai Daily reported further special discounts. Shaanxi Province’s Xi’an City will also give 20% discounts at its tourist attractions, including the famous terracotta warriors. And there’s 10% off the price of a visit to Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province.
