China's Ministry of Education approved the first Sino-foreign university on the mainland. The school, Ningbo-Nottingham University, will be jointly founded by the UK's University of Nottingham and Zhejiang Wanli University in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. The university is expected to receive investment totaling US$72.3 million. Graduates from the university will be awarded diplomas from the University of Nottingham. The school's curriculum will focus on business, foreign languages and international relations.
