Electronic tagging will be the formal center of  a new RFID show which will be held June 24 – 26, 2009 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Hall 3. The three-day exhibition will be held in conjunction with the ‘International Control & Automation EXPO for South China’.

First, which you already know but this is a reminder, Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices called RFID tags or transponders.

An RFID tag is an object that can be applied to or incorporated into a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification and tracking using radio waves. Some tags can be read from several meters away and beyond the line of sight of the reader.

Thus the RFID show will be about RFID chips, RFID tags, RFID peripheral equipment and RFID system integration solutions, GPS, RTLS and wireless sensors. The exhibition will not only showcase valuable development results of domestic companies, but also provide buyers from home and abroad a look at the latest global developments in RFID technology.
