
The city is also to establish the China Sensor Technology Research and Development Center, a research and development hub for the industry of Internet of Sensors (IoS), or Internet of Things (IoT), a smart RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology-based system to link things together through wireless network.
Yang Weize, the top official of the city administration, said the city’s IoS industry could yield an annual output of about valued at $14-15 billion by 2012.
