Floods this summer have already killed 764 people, left 191 people missing, and affected 90.21m people in 27 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, state media reported. The floods have devastated 7m hectares of crops and destroyed 702,100 houses, racking up direct losses totaling US$5.79bn.
