American automotive manufacturer Ford Motor (F.NYSE) announced that it would add 66 new dealers in China before the yearend, the Wall Street Journal reported. The new goal means that Ford will have introduced some 100 new dealerships in China during 2010, bringing the country total to 340. Ford is concentrating its efforts on the fast-growing secondary and tertiary cities in China, such as Nanning, Shijiazhuang, Harbin and Anyang. The company is scheduled to launch four new products in China over the next three years, aiming to provide no-frills vehicles within the price range of China’s burgeoning middle class. Its total sales in China are likely to increase to just under 18 million units in 2010, up from 13.5 million in 2009.
