Foreign firms get more mining licences

Foreign-funded companies in China obtained a total of 101 mineral resources prospecting licenses in the first five months of this year, up from 64 a year ago, state media reported, citing the Ministry of Land and Resources. Foreign-funded companies were also granted 15 mining licenses in this period, the report said.
