A 10-year-old girl in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has become the country's fourth human case of bird flu, state media reported. The girl, surnamed Tang, developed fever and pneumonia-like symptoms on November 23, after Ministry of Health tests showing evidence of the H5N1 virus. A 24-year-old pregnant woman and 35-year-old farmer have died of the disease while a 9-year-old boy recovered.
