G7 presses for currency reforms

In a message targeted at Beijing, the Group of Seven industrial powers over its weekend meeting called for countries with fixed currencies to relax their currency regimes. China, which is not a G7 member, had been invited to this and earlier G7 meetings, but had declined to attend.
