Google is fighting to buy the internet domain name http://www.gmail.cn from Beijing-based ISM Technologies, which is refusing to sell the name, Reuters reported. The name closely resembles Google's internationally known email service, http://www.gmail.com, and the colors in which the two logos are written are similar. There is no sign yet that Google will sue ISM, which claims to be the largest wholesale internet domain registrar accredited with Chinese government-backed internet body CNNIC.
