Guangdong Province registered US$172.84 billion in foreign trade in the first eight
months of the year, up 25.7 percent from a year earlier.
Guangdong's foreign trade volume accounted for 33.1 percent of the national total according to Customs
figures.
In the first eight months the province exported US$91.66 billion
worth of commodities, up 25.1 percent, and imported US$81.18 billion worth of
commodities, a rise of 26.4 percent.
