14 cities will jointly build a common tourism brand in the Guanzhong-Tianshui economic region.
This new tourism cooperative body will concentrate on the concept of “journey to the geographical center of China” and develop historic and cultural tourism, natural ecotourism, red tourism and recreational tourism. Routes such as “Tracing the Silk Road” and “Religious Sites Journey — Da ci’en Temple, Famen Temple, Kongtong Mountain, and Maijishan” are currently being developed.
They will also initiate a citizens’ mutual visit plan to promote each other’s tourism products and support travel agencies in launching interregional cooperation. World Countries further states the intention is to have full cooperation and plenty of warning in promoting important events in each other’s territories.
