After expressing an interest in a potential US$1.3bn bid for rival appliance maker Maytag last month, Haier Group said Tuesday it is still interested in making an offer but has yet to decide on whether to make a formal bid, Reuters reported. The Haier group said the expected due diligence before any formal offer would be made would take between six to eight weeks.
