HK tycoon buys prime Shanghai plot

[photopress:pudongtwr2_smlr.gif,full,alignright]Hutchison Whampoa Ltd and Cheung Kong (Holdings) Ltd, both owned by HK tycoon Li Ka-shing, have bought a plot of land with a floor space of 80,000 square meters in Shanghai’s prime commercial district, Lujiazui. The acquisition cost the two Hong Kong-listed companies RMB832 million.
