Hong Kong's pollution threatens real estate demand

[photopress:Pollution_Hong_Kong.gif,full,alignright]The Hong Kong haze could threaten more than the environment and the health of its residents. A recent report by Merrill Lynch said “pollution could damage demand for real estate and blunt the city’s economic edge.”

“If we get to the point where it’s so noxious you can’t live here, people will start walking out the door.”
Spencer White, Merrill Lynch strategist
