Hu meets Bush

President Hu Jintao held talks with US President George W Bush at the UN summit in New York Tuesday to discuss the yawning trade deficit between the two countries, State media reported. Hu acknowledged the deficit had caused frictions between the two countries and said he would work to increase US exports to China and to improve China's enforcement of intellectual property rights.
