Huawei under probe by US prosecutors over new allegations of tech theft

US prosecutors are investigating new instances of alleged technology theft by Chinese telecommunication equipment maker Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., said Reuters.

Huawei allegedly stole intellectual property from individuals and companies over several years, and recruited employees from its rivals, reported the Wall Street Journal. 

In January, the US Justice Department charged Huawei and its chief financial officer, Meng Wanzhou, with conspiring to violate US sanctions on Iran by doing business with Tehran through a subsidiary.
